Palawan Pawnshop once again bagged 2nd place on Tuna Float Festival

The city of General Santos, dubbed as the‘Tuna Capital of the Philippines’ which also happened to be the hometown ofPalawan Pawnshop Palawan Express Pera Padala’s first prominent endorser,Dionisia “Mommy D” Pacquiao, recently celebrated the annual Tuna Festival.

On its 20th year of celebration,the local government prepared for a ‘bigger and grander’ festivity with thisyear’s theme: “MEGATuna Fun in METROGensan”. Amid heightened securitymeasures, lots of locals and tourists witnessed the grand float parade on theopening day of the festivity on September 1, 2018, where seven competing floatsshowcased their vivacious masterpieces.

 

The PPS-PEPP float featured the richunderwater fauna of the Philippines with gigantic octopus, turtle, seahorse,and different variety of colorful fishes with two Palawan Pawnshop associatesin Mardi Grass costume to relate on this year’s theme and enliven the display.
