KEY RESPONSIBILITY :
- Performs coding duties following coding standards within a specified timeframe
- Provides assistance with software support and troubleshooting through interaction with the customer
- Maintains proper coding practices and documentation
- Collaborates with technical writers to create documentation for user support
- Performs upgrades to make software and systems more secure and efficient
QUALIFICATIONS :
- College graduate with a degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent
- Knowledge and experience in programming language/s used by the company
- Good understanding of computer and data communication design and components
- Good understanding of Operating Systems: Microsoft Windows (Desktop - up to the latest/current version), Microsoft Windows Server (2008 – up), Linux (flavor supported and used by the company)
- Good understanding of Application Platforms: Web Servers, Application Servers, Database Management Systems, Microsoft Office (up to the latest/current version), Email System
- Good understanding of Applications: Web-based Systems, Distributed applications
- Critical thinking and analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to details
- Must possess good inter-personal and communication skills.
