Adopt-A-Ward Program
In 2019, the Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) started its Adopt a Ward Project, aiming to make a positive impact on local healthcare. After a successful partnership with Ospital ng Palawan, the Northern Palawan Provincial Hospital became the second beneficiary of this noteworthy initiative.
PGC's philanthropic efforts at the Northern Palawan Provincial Hospital focus on the Surgical Ward, recognizing its pivotal role in the recovery of patients undergoing various medical procedures. Going beyond hospital beds, PGC has generously provided essential amenities like egg mattresses, electric fan, bed sheets, blankets, pillows, and others. This comprehensive approach ensures the utmost comfort for patients during their recuperation process.
At PGC, we believe in sharing our blessings beyond business operations. The Corporate Social Responsibility Department, with support from generous sponsors, initiated a heartwarming Christmas campaign to foster a positive atmosphere, especially during challenging times. Admitted patients were treated to bags filled with Noche Buena package, grocery items, and fresh fruits. This thoughtful gesture not only brought the festive spirit to the hospital corridors but also demonstrated PGC's commitment to holistic well-being.
