PALAWAN GROUP OF COMPANIES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM 
 

WHO ARE QUALIFIED TO APPLY? 

  1. Must be an incoming first-year college student this AY 2026-2027. 
  2. Must be aged 17–21 with a Grade 12 GWA of 90% or higher. 
  3. Must be a resident of Palawan. 
  4. Must be enrolled at Palawan State University – Main Campus or Western Philippines University – Main or PPC Campus. 
  5. Priority is given to applicants from indigent or low-income families. 
  6. Must be of good moral character, be in good health, and have no criminal or derogatory record. 
  7. Must NOT be a direct dependent or relative up to the 3rd degree of any Palawan Group of Companies Associate.  
  8. Must NOT be a recipient of any other scholarship, financial aid, or grant, except school-based academic scholarships for honor students. 

HOW TO APPLY FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM? 

Interested applicants should:  

  • Complete the Online Application Form during the application period:   https://forms.gle/ZvJg9PGZVxbBGPrd9  
  • Ensure that scanned copies of the following documentary requirements are ready for upload:
    • Certificate of Registration (1st semester, AY 2026-2027) 
    • Grade 12 Report Card  
    • Certificate of Good Moral Character 
    • Barangay Certificate of Residency or Barangay Certificate of Indigency  
    • Photos of yourself at home (inside & outside view) 

Note: 
Application with incomplete documentary requirements will not be processed and will be automatically disqualified. 

Applicants who pass the initial screening will receive an email notification from the Scholarship Program Management with instructions for the next stage of the selection process.

WHAT DOES THE COMPANY EXPECT FROM ITS SCHOLARS? 

  • The Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) Scholar is expected to finish his/her course within the prescribed period required for its completion. 
  • The Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) Scholar must maintain passing grades in all academic and non-academic subjects, including ROTC and PE. 
  • He/she will sign a contract of agreement to be duly notarized by a notary public. 
  • In the event that the Palawan Group of Companies (PGC) Scholar fails to complete his/her course without any reasonable explanation and/or direct communication, he/she will be required to refund all financial benefits that have been accorded to him/her. 

OUR IMPACT 

The Palawan Group of Companies Scholarship Program has changed the lives of many students by giving them the opportunity to continue their education and work toward their dreams. Over the years, 898 scholars have successfully graduated from college, proving that hard work and support can lead to success. At present, 491 scholars are actively continuing their studies with the help of the program. Behind these numbers are stories of perseverance, growth, and hope for a better future. Through education, the program continues to open doors and make a real difference in the lives of young people.
