Palawan Pawnshop Group Inaugurates New Home on its 34th Year

Palawan Pawnshop – Palawan Express Pera Padala inaugurated its newest Head Office Building at the heart of Puerto Princesa City on August 17, 2019 in celebration of its 34^th year founding anniversary.

The event was attended by over 500 guests, included are business partners who flew from overseas and from National Capital Region, family friends, relatives and top-management officers of Palawan Pawnshop. The Board of Directors led by President Bobby L. Castro entertained guests from arrival to the assisted building tour and shared good times over cocktails at the new building’s rooftop.

In the after-dinner program, the Castro siblings, who now handles significant positions in Palawan Pawnshop Group of Companies, shared glimpse of the past highlighting why the family and the whole company take pride in the newly constructed Head Office, comparing it to the humble little office atop a branch which serves as their home and the pawnshop’s office for a time back in the ‘90s. The program was both touching and light as values of the company were reflected while the Castro siblings paid homage to their parents who established and first operated the first Palawan Pawnshop branch in 1985.

The night was punctuated by an hour-long mini-concert of the seasoned singer Hajji Alejandro at the Lobby of the new building.  Also, part of the entertainment were the brand ambassadors, father and son, Benjie and Andre Paras.

The newly inaugurated Head Office Building, Palawan Pawnshop Group’s new home, is located few meters from the current head office and the first-ever branch of Palawan Pawnshop. The new Head Office provides more office spaces to accommodate the growing number of manpower as the brand continuously expand its network and the services it provides. It also includes diversely designed meeting rooms in the mezzanine, cafeteria, auditorium, rooftop and basement parking. The brand keeps its Head Office in the province where it all started – Palawan.
