Palawan Group's CSR Update: 90 Days of Nourishment

This holiday season, the Rotary Club of Puerto Princesa, in partnership with Palawan Group of Companies and Rise Against Hunger Philippines, has launched a 90-day supplementary feeding program to support the students of Sicsican Elementary School. According to the Puerto Princesa City Health Office, Sicsican Elementary School has one of the highest numbers of malnourished students in the city. This initiative seeks to address this pressing issue and pave the way for brighter futures.

The program will benefit 100 students from kindergarten and grade 1—young learners who need nutritious meals to develop strong bodies and minds. With the generous support of Rise Against Hunger Philippines, these students will receive healthy, carefully prepared meals every day for 90 days. Ten parent volunteers, rotating daily, will handle the meal preparation, embodying the spirit of community and shared responsibility.

Each meal served carries a message of hope: no child should go hungry, and no dream should be left behind because of malnutrition. This initiative is more than just about food—it’s about building a stronger, healthier generation.
