Last December 12, 2024, we officially turned over the newly renovated classroom at Mangingisda National High School as part of the pilot run of the Adopt-a-Classroom Initiative by the Palawan Group of Companies. The project wasn’t just about fixing up the classroom—it was about transforming it into a space that inspires learning and growth.

We brought in new furniture, including a TV, armchairs, and teachers’ tables and chairs. We also provided students with notebooks and ballpens, hoping these would inspire them to strive harder to succeed.

Leading the turnover was Ms. Korina Castro-Fernando, our Human Resources Director, together with the CSR Department, headed by Ms. Rema Dabalus, and Mr. Sherwin Marco from the Engineering Department, who led the renovation efforts.

In her speech, Ms. Korina reminded us why we do what we do:
"To give back to the community part of our blessings, with emphasis on education, sports development, and environmental protection."

She also shared how moments like this inspire the Palawan Group to work even harder to serve the community. This project is proof of what we can achieve together. Every time you trust Palawan Express Pera Padala, you’re not just sending money—you’re contributing to initiatives that bring real change to communities.

It’s important for us to uplift the learning environment and capabilities of students because they are the hope of our nation. They are the ones who will help lift our country to greater heights.

This Christmas, your support has made all of this possible. Maraming salamat, mga Ka-Palawan! With your help, we are able to provide Palawaño youth with better learning environments and greater opportunities in education. We hope for your continued support so that we can reach and help even more Filipino children, giving them hope for a brighter future.
